Staci McCarthy, Attorney
Attorney Staci McCarthy is a well-respected trial attorney throughout the state of Oregon and Washington. She began her career in public service as a staff attorney with Legal Aid Services of Oregon in Klamath Falls. Staci McCarthy primarily represented clients in divorce, custody, child support, restraining order, and landlord tenant matters. In 2008 she moved to Medford and began working for the largest AV rated law firm in Southern Oregon. While in Medford, Staci McCarthy continued to focus her practice on family law and civil litigation. In 2013 Attorney McCarthy relocated to Hood River with her husband, Hood River native Adam McCarthy, and young daughter. They moved so that her husband could manage the long established McCarthy farming operation. She then began working at a law firm in The Dalles, representing clients in Oregon and Washington in family law, debt collection, and civil litigation matters.
Attorney McCarthy has represented clients in the vast majority of Circuit Courts in Oregon, and the largest Superior Courts in Washington and California, including King and LA County. She has represented a wide range of clients including individuals – mothers, fathers, husbands, wives and children and a wide variety of businesses.
Attorney McCarthy intentionally chose to narrow her practice to family law and civil litigation, including debt collection and landlord tenant matters because she believes her knowledge and experience make her a cost-effective choice for her clients.
Attorney McCarthy was born and raised in rural Scappoose, Oregon, where she learned the value of small town living, hard work, and persistence. Staci and her husband, Adam McCarthy, currently farm apples and pears in the upper Hood River Valley.
When Staci is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two young children, and yellow lab Kubota. She also enjoys boating, reading, cooking, biking and volunteering in the community as a member of the Hood River Rotary
